Our wonderful volunteers help us in all aspects of life at The Chellington Centre. We match volunteer skills and passion with jobs that help the centre run and we’re always looking for new recruits.
We have plenty of opportunties for individuals and groups to get involved....join our team developing educational resources and fun activities for groups to engage with the local environment...help with gardening....put your engineering skills to use... or something else!
"Having retired from full time employment, followed by indulging a number of hobbies, it felt right (for me) to try and put something back. My first morning at the centre was a wonderful outdoor session re-varnishing fences. Since then, no two days have been the same! Teamwork is valued and encouraged and these elements, along with the banter, breaks, tea and biscuits, are rewards in themselves. There is no minimum requirement of hours, just total appreciation for any time given to this wonderful centre. Come and join us – you won`t regret it!" Gareth
