John Tusting

With great sadness, we share the news that John Tusting passed away peacefully at the weekend. The driving force behind Chellington for 25 years and founder of The Chellington Centre Charity, John's unwavering commitment and passion for Chellington made it what it is today. He will be sorely missed by all that had the fortune of knowing him.

New Telescope

Look at our wonderful new telescope, generously donated by the Bedford Astronomical Society. (www.bedsastro.org.uk)

Winding River Resource Pack for KS2

We are excited to announce our new Winding River Resource Pack for KS2. This is acitvity pack, including risk assessments, is designed for self-delivery and changeable weather. This is the first in a series of new educational resources that we are developing for primary schools.

2024 Bursary Awards

We are very pleased to announce that we have additional funding for the Chellington Bursary Fund thanks for the generosity of the Carlton Education Trust.

This means that we are able to accept new applications for schools or youth groups looking for financial support with their residential experience at Chellington in 2024 or 2025.

Christmas Drinks at Chellington

Thanks to all our friends and supporters who joined us for Christmas drinks on 11th December at the Centre.

It was lovely to see lots of new faces as well as many familiar ones.

Special thanks to our neighbour Raj for generously donating our Christmas tree and delivering it too!

Mobile Animal Farm Comes to Chellington

Our first school to experience our new Mobile Animal Farm partnered activity.

This is a great way for children to get close to farm animals in a quiet and safe environment delivered by an award winning, small mobile animal farm with experience of animal assisted therapy.
